Job Summary: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the ordering, preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceutical materials to patients. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates gamma equipment or thyroid uptake and probe for the visualization for both the structure and function of major organ systems within the body. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist utilizes knowledge of radiation physics and safety in the preparation, measurement, and administration of isotopes.
