Lead complete New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle for headliner systems (soft trim/interior components).
Work closely with OEMs to understand technical specifications, styling, and functional requirements.
Drive design & engineering of headliner components including substrates, fabrics, foam, reinforcements, and integration parts (lighting, wiring, grab handles, sun visors, etc.).
Oversee CAD design and validation using tools like CATIA/NX.
Manage DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering documentation.
Coordinate prototype development, trials, and product validation activities.
Ensure compliance with NVH, safety, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: manufacturing, quality, sourcing, tooling, and suppliers.
