OverviewIn accordance with professional standards of care and adhering to corporate philosophy of OSFMG, the advanced practice nurse/physician assistant shall be responsible for:
Providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSFExposure to a broad range of acute and complex neurological casesPrimarily inpatient neurocritical care, including comprehensive neurological assessments, daily rounding, histories and physicals, new consults, admissions, and dischargesPerform procedures in collaboration with neurocritical care intensivistsPrepare patients for surgery, manage postoperative care, and support smooth care transitions across the continuumDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with attending neurocritical care intensivistsCollaborative work environment with neurocritical care intensivists, residents, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams
