I'm looking for a Gardener to help with maintenance of my small orchard. The job involves pruning fruit trees, removing dead branches, and tidying the orchard beds. I'd like someone with experience in espalier and standard pruning methods suitable for apples and pears. There are about 12 trees of mixed varieties, and I’d appreciate guidance on seasonal care, pest monitoring, and basic mulching. Access is reasonable by a private lane, and I can provide some compost and mulch. Weather in Ireland can be unpredictable, so flexibility with a couple of days in the week is useful.
