Main Responsibilities

• Perform NonDestructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Radiographic Testing (RT) Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) and Visual Inspection (VT) to evaluate materials and components for defects and structural integrity.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports documenting test results, findings and recommendations.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to determine the type of inspection and testing required.
• Ensure that inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to standards.
• Identify material defects, cracks, corrosion and other potential hazards in structural components, welds and machinery.
