Principal Responsibilities
Perform trimming and debridement of toenails on patients with myocotic nails. Rule out contra-indications to treatment and recommend necessary changes. Monitor the effects of treatment and modify techniques to achieve maximum benefit. Verbally report progress or changes in the patient’s condition to the Podiatrist. Communicate professionally in person or by telephone. Provide patient/family education and reinforce all patient teaching. Document progress report in medical record.
