System Maintenance: Assist with installing, configuring, and upgrading z/OS, subsystems (CICS, MQ, DB2), and third-party vendor products related to Mainframe.
Support & Incident Management: Act as 2nd/3rd level support for mainframe issues, troubleshoot operational errors, analyse root causes, and assist in troubleshooting, debugging system failures and resolving tickets.
Change Management: Follow established procedures for implementing software changes and participating in software upgrades.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience
Basic understanding of mainframe environments
Strong analytical problem-solving skill, willingness to learn and ability to document procedures
