Position Summary

Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the MRI Technologist prepares for and operates an MRI Scanner following specific physician orders. Produces detailed computer-generated scans of patients for diagnostic and interventional information. Assists patients onto scanner after reviewing the MRI safety checklist, verifies patient identification prior to scan, selects patient from worklist, ensures exam is archived on the PACS and completed properly in the RIS.
