A well-established mining operation in Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced Mine Engineer (GCC) to take responsibility for the engineering function across multiple opencast coal operations .
This is a senior, site-based role requiring a technically strong and commercially aware individual with 10–15+ years’ experience in mining , who can ensure legal compliance, operational efficiency, and engineering excellence across the business.

Legal & Statutory Compliance

• Fulfil the duties of a legally appointed GCC Engineer (Mines & Works)
• Ensure compliance with the MHSA and all relevant regulations
• Oversee engineering legal appointments, audits, and inspections
• Maintain and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and safety systems
