Job Summary
Reporting to the Trade Supervisor and/or Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the installation, removal, repair and preventive maintenance of rotating equipment on the University campus.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces and installs motors, pumps, fans, compressors, shafts, pulleys, hoists, conveyors and other related rotating equipment on campusPerforms preventive maintenance on above referenced equipmentUtilizes lathe, milling machine and related equipment to repair existing machinery components and fabricate replacement componentsInstalls power drives in correct position, and aligns power shafts and pulleysAssists in the organization and scheduling of preventive maintenance routinesUtilizes hoists, rollers, or trolleys to position machineryRecommends equipment upgrades based on best economical/professional judgementNotifies Working Forepe...
