Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Commitment to, demonstrate support and advocate for the goals and mission of the AVID College Readiness System (ACRS) Assess student abilities as related to desired educational goals, objectives, and outcomes. Continually assess student achievement and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for institutional and individual reporting purposes Ensure that the WICOR strategies are fully implemented during the AVID class, and assist other content teachers to implement WICOR strategies in their classes. Work with the AVID counselor to ensure that the AVID students are placed in rigorous courses appropriate to their interests, desire, and determination.
