Process and analyse samples in the laboratory for phytoplankton, zooplankton, legionella and microbiological analyses as assigned by the Lab Manager/section in-charge.
Prepare and store media and other reagents required for the analysis.
Identify and classify marine organisms.
Perform the daily/weekly/monthly checks as assigned by the Lab Manager/section in-charge.
Perform sample collection and tasks in accordance with approved methodologies testing protocols and analytical procedures.
Operate, maintain and properly store lab and marine equipment and sample inventories.
Perform media efficacy check standardization & sterility check as assigned by the section in-charge/ Lab Manager.
Perform internal calibration and verification of instruments as instructed by the Lab Manager/section in-charge.
