Job Description
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the Metallurgy Technician is responsible for undertaking day‑to‑day, client focused metallurgical testwork activities at Metallurgy Pty Ltd based in Welshpool.
This hands on position plays a key role in sample management, laboratory preparation, and routine testwork, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met.

Receive, prepare, and manage samples, including inventory preparationConduct a range of metallurgical testwork activities, including:Sample drying and weighingRotary and riffle splittingCrushing and grindingRoutine comminution testing and grind establishmentsEnsure project deliverables are completed on time and to a high-quality standardMaintain accurate records and adhere to QA/QC proceduresWork independently using initiative, while also supporting senior tec...
