Serves as Mental Health Department Head for all matters relating to mental health services at the institution. Acts as a liaison with the Unit Head/designee on issues related to mental health services. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff. Oversees and directs the development, implementation and monitoring of mental health services, policies and programs at the facility. Ensures that documentation and records are maintained according to DOC and ACA standards, along with licensing regulations from DBHDS. May be involved with special units or programs.
