Shift:Full Time - 40 Hours - Day Shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends.

Location:Providence Medical Building - 22250 Providence Drive Southfield MI 48075*
Primary site is Southfield. Will ravel to Rochester, Warren, and Novi as needed.
GENERAL SUMMARY:

Assists provider by documenting the provider-patient encounter during the patient exam exactly as it is verbalized.

Responsibilities:

+ Accompanies provider into the patient examination room to document the provider's encounter with the patient.

+ Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.

+ Transcribes patient orders including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.

+ Documents procedures performed by the provider.
