About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Registrar Advanced Trainee in Renal to join our Medical Department at Hawke's Bay Hospital. The training year commences on 1 February 2027, with a mid‑year intake on 2 August 2027. We support one RACP Advanced Trainee in Renal Medicine for up to 12 months. You will work alongside 4 Renal Physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient renal medicine
• Community dialysis
• Outpatient clinics managing Chronic Kidney Disease, Transplant, and Dialysis
• Outreach clinic opportunities in Wairoa
• Post‑perioperative post‑transplant care locally with referral centre in Wellington
