**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

This job is responsible for physics leadership in the assigned region across the radiation oncology network.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Performs responsibilities of a level II medical physicist.50%
+ Develops, oversees, and manages standard operating procedures in quality assurance/control evaluations on radiation producing machines and patient care in the assigned region across the radiation oncology network.20%
+ Develops, oversees, and manages physics staff and programs in the assigned region across the radiation oncology network.10%
+ Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and standards in the assigned region across the radiation oncology network.10%
+ Develops, oversees, and manages special clinical research and development projects as assigned.10%
+ Other duties as assigned or requested.
