Description
:This is a Medical Assistant training program intended for individuals with little to no clinical experience and no formal Medical Assistant training.
You will need to be able and willing to travel to either the West Penn Nursing School or to AHN Suburban in Bellevue 2 days per week for hands-on training
You need to be able to work the other three days during the week at a physician office, practicing your skills during the training period
Once the program is complete, you will be required to sit for the Certification Exam
Following the training schedule, you will need to be able to work 40 hours a week. in the physician office for which you were hired.
For External Hires, this position starts at $18 / hour. Once you are certified, you will be at $19.26.
