Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the physician’s office. Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team in the development of the plan of care for patients. Provide support to doctors and patients through a variety of tasks that support the ultimate goal of providing excellent, high-quality patient care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, providing, and evaluating patient care as a member of the health care team. Collaborate with MD, NP and nursing staff in the development of the plan of care for patients. Observe patients for reactions to drugs, treatments, signs and symptoms or other medical conditions and immediately reports to departmental supervisor (MD, NP, RN, or LPN).
