We’re looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team and support the smooth day‑to‑day running of our clinics.

This role offers NZREX-qualified doctors a valuable opportunity to build practical experience in New Zealand, working alongside experienced GPs and gaining exposure to day‑to‑day clinical workflows, all while being backed by Tāmaki Health's strong clinical network and support systems.

What the role involves

You’ll work alongside GPs and nurses, helping manage the behind‑the‑scenes clinical workload so patient care runs seamlessly.

Most of your time will be spent:

• Reviewing and processing patient results
• Communicating results to patients clearly and appropriately
• Managing recalls, follow‑ups, and screening entries
• Sorting and prioritising incoming clinical correspondence
