Element has an opportunity for a **Mechanical Test Technician** to join our growing team in Wixom, MI. The Mechanical Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.

Element Wixom is a full-service metallurgical and materials testing laboratory supporting the automotive, aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. The laboratory provides extensive expertise in mechanical testing, fatigue testing, metallurgical evaluations, chemical analysis, corrosion testing, and advanced failure analysis, helping manufacturers validate material performance and resolve complex engineering challenges.






**Responsibilities**

+ Conducting mechanical testing including tensile, compersion, hardness, Charpy, and bend testing
+ Prepare material specimens for testing
+ Interpretation of internal and client requirements
