We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to carry out Heavy maintenance on a fleet of Rail vehicles in Cardiff on a 6 month Contractbasis.
This role has a rate of £18.87 ph PAYE or £25.06 Umb - 36 hours a week (with possible overtime), Monday to Friday Days Earlies and Lates on a rotation!!
The individuals must have experience in some form of heavy underframe overhaul or a relatable industry such as Vehicle maintenance, heavy engineering (REME, HGV, PSV etc)
Your Tasks

• Carry out maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and procedures
• Working on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace components as part of the overhaul.

Your Profile
Essential:

• Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3.
