Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical / Industrial Planner.
Summary:
This role will prepare the plant for a week-long shut down for maintenance and repairs on equipment. This person will communicate and coordinate alongside others in the mechanical and electrical departments on what needs to be done during this shut-down period. The candidate should have the ability to juggle 15-20 small projects at a time, which will need to be done during the outage. This person will work to select and coordinate with contractors/subcontractors to perform the work. Candidate will take inventory and order parts as needed as well. Some scheduling will be needed too - so if candidate has MS Project experience, that will be a plus.
Requirements: 5+ years of mechanical maintenance planning experience Experienced in job planning, scheduling, job execution and parts ordering
