Mechanical Fitter – Special Purpose Machinery

Location: Bognor Regis, West Sussex | Permanent

Schedule: 39‑hour week (Monday‑Thursday 7:30am‑4:30pm, Friday 7:30am‑12:30pm) | £19.50/hour

I’m recruiting on behalf of a well‑established UK machine builder specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke automation and special purpose machinery supplied to customers worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Fitter to their engineering team.

The Role

This is a hands‑on, workshop‑based position focused on the mechanical build of custom‑built machinery, from sub‑assembly through to final build and test.

• Mechanical assembly of special purpose machinery from engineering drawings
