Job Summary:

The Mechanical Designer II provides mechanical design deliverables for our manufactured microgrid product solutions at our Durham and Randleman, NC facilities. This position will assist the overall team to provide assurance that our products are being built per engineering specifications and other required standards (i.e. UL, NEC).

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):


+ Associates of Applied Science degree in Engineering Technology or other related fields preferred.

+ 5+ years of related experience producing mechanical design drawings for large machinery and welded assemblies.

+ Proficient with 3-D CAD software, preferably AutoDesk Inventor.

+ Strong knowledge of industry standard drafting and modeling principles.

+ Proficient with PDM environment workflows, preferably Autodesk Vault.

+ ERP experience preferred.
