Responsibilities Perform concept and designs in area of system integration and automation of machines to meet the system specifications (required by process / automation needs) involving:
- Design standardization, costing and project planning
- Machine and module conceptualization design, design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and concurrent engineering
- Detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings
- Selection and sizing of standard components available off the shelf
- Undertake prototype testing studies according to accepted practice and design standards
- Document all design work, BOM list and preparation of manual according to design standards and company procedures
Requirements - Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
