Due to continued growth and increasing demand for bespoke machinery, we're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well‑established engineering team.

This is a hands‑on role focused on the design and development of special‑purpose machinery, working closely with internal teams from concept through to build and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing new machines, retrofits, and upgrades
• Creating 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Producing sales layout drawings (SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
• Generating Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Creating 2D drawings (assembly, part, fabrication)
• Developing pneumatic schematics
• Producing machine manuals and technical documentation
• Supporting the shop floor during machine builds
• Liaising with design and engineering teams to optimise designs
