Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Matron in the overall administration and management of the Nursing Department.
• Supervise and monitor the daily activities of nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection control practices, and statutory guidelines.
• Prepare and manage duty rosters, shift allocations, and leave schedules of nursing personnel.
• Monitor patient care standards and address patient concerns related to nursing services.
• Coordinate with consultants, medical officers, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Assist in recruitment, orientation, induction, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
