Responsibilities
  • Drive and ensure vessels’ adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Maintain vessels in a state of readiness to safely execute voyages and operations.
  • Plan and coordinate audits and inspections by recognised organisations (RO), including ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
  • Organise and manage vetting inspections, including submissions through the OCIMF SIRE system.
  • Oversee navigational matters, including the review and approval of passage plans and conducting navigation audits.
  • Ensure full compliance with the requirements of terminals, operators, oil majors, and charterers.
  • Coordinate and handle all matters relating to Flag State and Port State authorities.
  • Keep Q88 and HVPQ records accurate and up to date at all times.
