To oversee and support the electrical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance activities of the assigned fleet/vessels while ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted functioning of all electrical and automation systems in accordance with company standards, statutory regulations, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations & Maintenance
Monitor and support vessel electrical systems including power generation, distribution, automation, navigation, communication, and control systems.
Coordinate with vessel Chief Engineers and Electrical Officers for timely troubleshooting and rectification of electrical defects.
Provide technical guidance for preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment onboard vessels.
Review machinery performance reports and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and reliability.
