Setup, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching and other conventional machines in the cell/process.
Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for accurate inspection checks.
Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Maintain pertinent records; shop‑paper and work in accordance with technical instructions and drawings.
Work in an orderly manner and keep work areas, benches and machinery tidy and clean after use.
Notify the Supervisor in a timely manner for any machine or tooling problems that could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
Requirements
NITEC/Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
