Position at Samtec, Inc Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Provide first level engineering support to contract manufacturer operation teams, troubleshooting process, equipment, and product issues in real time.
Support new product introductions and transfers for Optics and HDR products, including documentation review, capability assessments, and process/equipment qualifications.
Ensure adherence to Samtec control plans and standards, coordinating approval and implementation of process changes between Samtec and contract manufacturer.
Review and analyze process and yield data, identify trends or drifts, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
Design, develop, and support manual, semi‑automated, and automated tooling and equipment using CAD tools.
Develop and standardize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process windows to improve quality, yield, and reliability.
