Plan and execute improvement activities related to manufacturing. Maintain manufacturing systems and documentation. Support production processes using engineering tools to improve productivity, reduce cost and increase safety.
Responsibilities Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc). Implement/coordinate engineering changes and new manufacturing/product releases (PPAP). Lead continuous improvement projects related to cycle time, defect cost, changeover time, ergonomics, etc. Coordinate modifications or improvement strategies for existing equipment and/or processes.
