Job Description
This person is going to be helping design an assembly line – calculating Demand at Capacity, building excel files to calculate of stations needed, reviewing OMS/work content to potentially combine work stations, manipulate and create new AutoCAD details to build line, ensure proper ergonomics and work cell spacing, consider new utilities/tooling/equipment need to support production, capex creation, etc.

Requirements:

BS in Engineering.

Experience with assembly line design, using Demand Flow Technology (DFT) preferred (basically using data to balance lines and determine number of stations and sequence of events, etc.)

Other assembly line design methodology will be considered in lieu of DFT -- Ultimately, the person needs to have experience with line balancing and takt time, etc. – this is critical and will be asked about in interview.
