The Manufacturing Engineer III is a Senior Engineer, responsible to develop and drive quality-driven manufacturing systems, processes and equipment for the production of new and existing products. The Manufacturing Engineer III mentors and provides leadership to lower level Engineers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mentors and trains a team of Manufacturing Engineers Develops processes for the efficient production of harness systems and electro-mechanical assemblies Creates and maintains work instruction to optimize manufacturability Problem solves and recommends solutions for internal production issues and customer design issues Leads engineering efforts for New Product Introduction Not limited to - DFx, Risk assessment, Product flow, line balancing, etc. NPI schedule and execution input Designs and implements tools and fixtures required for effective manufacturing Investigates, recommends, justifies and implements new equipment purchases Manages process and documentation chang...
