Job duties and responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, motivation and direction to all staff.
• Coach and develop employees, including performance management, training, orientation and disciplinary action.
• Schedule & manage team member shifts; recruit & select employees.
• Delegate supplier orders and other tasks to staff; perform supplier audits.
• Participate, oversee and audit workplace Health & Safety matters.
• Create and implement contingency plans in the event of operational disruptions.
• Advise key staff of abnormal freight movements and special handling instructions.
• Complete and approve payroll timesheets on a bi‑weekly basis; completion of Human Resources documents.
• Prepare, collect & review documentation and establish procedures specific to the station’s operation.
• Co‑operate with Airport Authority and other carriers to ensure assistance when required.
