Review geotechnical reports, soil investigation data, and topographical information for estimation accuracy. Lead and manage the complete estimation process for civil works in substation projects (11kV to 400kV).
Review tender drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, manpower, equipment, subcontracting, and indirect costs.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and construction teams during bid preparation.
Analyze tender risks, contractual requirements, and project scope gaps.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions within deadlines.
Lead tender kick-off meetings and coordinate responsibilities among departments.
Develop rate analysis and productivity norms for civil activities.
Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.
