**Essential Duties:**

+ This position is responsible for performing the preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and operational equipment for the site and overseeing a department of mechanics.
+ Lead by example in modeling the safety behaviors and attitude expected by Amentum.
+ Ensure employees comply with EHS policies and requirements by frequently visually verifying compliance. Immediately engage employees not in compliance.
+ Participate in injury management, incident investigation, cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
+ Recognize employees for their work contributions regularly through informal recognition.
+ Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of equipment adhering to lockout tagout procedures and other safety guidelines.
