            Minimum requirements 
Matric (Grade 12) plus a relevant technical/maintenance qualification or trade (e.g. fitter, millwright, electrician, general maintenance). 
Proven experience in a maintenance role on a farm or similar agricultural / industrial environment. 
Previous experience in pig production or intensive livestock production will be a strong advantage. 
Experience working with wet feeding systems will be highly advantageous. 
Strong handsâon ability in faultâfinding, repairs and general maintenance (mechanical, basic electrical and structural). 
Ability to develop and run a preventative maintenance plan. 
Good problemâsolving skills with a practical, canâdo approach. 
Computer literacy for basic reporting and maintenance records. 
Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport. 
Willingness to work on site, be handsâon in the piggery and be available for callâout...
