Summary:

Operates stationary and mechanical equipment including steam boilers, generators, air conditioners, water heaters, pumps, cooling towers and water softeners to provide utility services. Perform water testing and water treatment program of boilers, chillers, cooling towers and closed loop systems. Performs repairs to buildings, facilities and equipment. Must have a good working knowledge of HVAC, chiller and boiler systems. Will also require electrical knowledge and a strong mechanical background. Will need to work with co-workers and supervisor to coordinate and complete jobs, safely and efficiently. Responsible for taking on-call and able to work individually when responding to a call in. Other responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance on equipment, plumbing repairs and snow removal.
