The purpose of this post is to manage and delegate the maintenance and preventative maintenance work, services and equipment of all NMU Campuses in accordance with legislative requirements and NMU policies and procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Manage, delegate and carry out: Electrical maintenance and preventative maintenance as well as new electrical installations. Mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance as well as new mechanical installations on all the NMU Campuses. Manage all the electrical and mechanical tasks related to projects. Manage all staff reporting to this post. Advise the George Campuses’ Supervisors regarding all electrical and mechanical work. Manage all works requisitions, job cards and administration duties daily. To work independently and complete all stand‑by related work.
