Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Plaistow, London

Salary: £55,700

Shift: Days (7 am‑3 pm, Monday‑Friday)

Role Overview

Join a large, well‑structured site with over 40 engineers on‑site. Supported by progression and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment, including:
• Conveyors, belts, bearings
• Labellers, weighers
• Sensors, relays, drives
• PLC fault finding (not programming)
• Planned preventive & reactive maintenance (PPM)

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline (essential)
• Strong fault‑finding and mechanical/electrical skills
• Background in heavy industry, FMCG, or food processing sectors
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Adaptable to refinery and packing areas (training provided for packing)...
