Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of mainframe cobol, db2, vsam, jcl, mainframe cics developers in designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications. Manage the full software development lifecycle of mainframe projects from requirements gathering to deployment. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality of deliverables. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe cobol, db2, vsam, jcl, and mainframe cics applications. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
