            Responsibilities  Develop, deploy, and support new and existing mainframe-based applications throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
Coordinate with clients and IT personnel to analyze system requests and develop specifications for new projects or maintenance. 
Prepare unit and integration test plans and perform testing in cooperation with stakeholders. 
Conduct thorough problem analysis regarding technical systems and application programs, documenting findings and proposing resolutions. 
Serve as a Project Lead for smaller projects and act as a mentor for less experienced engineers. 
Prepare user and operational documentation for all programming work performed. 
Participate in on-call responsibilities to support production as needed. 
 Requirements  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
