Provide full technology stack planning, administration, and support for Client's Mainframe environment, including z/OS, Db2, CICS TS, MQ, and ISV software
Monitor system health, schedule jobs (Autosys), and manage batch execution processes
Manage disk and tape systems including virtual tape libraries
Assist in ensuring Service Now CMDB is refreshed and updated so that it can be utilized for mainframe capacity planning
Perform incident management, change implementation, and recovery procedures
Administer mainframe security via RACF and perform regular performance tuning
Provide operational and disaster recovery support for mainframe environments
Manage software lifecycle, ensure compliance (NERC/CIP/SOX), and support application- and system-level tasks
Manages physical mainframe hardware, including vendor access
Execute diagnostics and support network configuration for mainframe component
