JOB SUMMARY:

The Tooling Management Technician works under the direction of the Production Engineering Manager/Tooling Manager to provide management and control of tooling to support engineering and manufacturing staff. They will maintain reports/records of tooling status for all active tools used for the manufacturing of ceramic cores to include tooling reworks/die coatings/in-coming new tooling (to include getting parts to PM301 qualification). Successfully demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within our organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ To maintain reporting status of all tools that have left the facility by providing dates of departure and return.
+ To maintain reporting status of all tools that require re-coating by providing dates of departure and return.
+ As new tooling arrives, responsible for input into engineering database and reviewing all documents for verification of markings to build instructions.
