Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Mainstream Secondary

A welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Chelmsford is looking for a strong, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Inclusion Team this September.

This is a role where you won't just be supporting in class - you'll be helping young people remove barriers, build confidence, and actually believe they can succeed.

As an LSA, you will:

Support students with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs in mainstream classrooms
Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access learning and stay engaged
Adapt resources and approaches to meet individual needs
Support behaviour for learning in a calm, consistent and positive way
Work closely with teachers and the SEN/Inclusion team
