Applications are invited for a Consultant Pathologist to join the current 22 Consultant team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, a University‑affiliated Teaching Hospital. An interest in dermatopathology and urology would be particularly welcome, however, the department is flexible and is willing to consider applicants with any other areas of interest.
The workload is reported by subspecialist teams and distributed according to RCPath points guidance.
The post will offer opportunities for research, teaching and participation in private practice.
The Pathology Department handles approximately 37,000 surgical and 4,700 diagnostic cytology specimens and has full UKAS ISO 15189:2022 accreditation.
