Job Summary:
The LPN provides quality patient care. The LPN shall assist in the implementation of the nursing process by providing direct patient care as evidenced by patient care documentation, direct observation, and patient evaluations. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. The LPN is responsible for taking vitals sign, height, and weight of patients. Review medication with the patient doing each encounter at visit or on a telephone messages. The LPN is responsible for returning messages to patient and routing to the Doctor for review and or orders.
