Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures. Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day: 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Different types of visits and activities hold various point values. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment.
